Default RADIX 90mm J-Tube Conversion

When doing the conversion do you need to take the entire unit out or is there enough space to wiggle the 75mm out and 90mm in? I'm debating doing the 90mm TB and J-Tube conversion and need to know how much down time there will be.

You will have to pull the blower off. If it wasnt for how hard it is to get to the bolts that hold the jtube on it could slip out of there but good luck getting to the bottom bolts. Pulling the blower off the heads isnt that big of a deal. Just get a friend over to help lift it off. I helped a friend do the conversion and from the time we opened the hood to the time we went for a test drive was about 2 hours. This was on a cable truck though so you will have the added time of messing with the TAC and if you get the DRX harness.

I have R n R'd my J-tube without removing the whole blower as well when I went to the Mototron 60's. It did involve some cursing but not much worse than trying to get at that right rear bolt when removing the whole blower.

I too did the conversion without removing the blower I thought it was going to be a pita but there is no bolt in the lower left corner so it was fairly easy you can do it no prob.

Kind of off topic but how much of an increase (boost and/or hp) do you Maggie guys see going to a 90mm?

You should be able to do it with the blower on.

According to WCCH 20-25 rwhp just as a bolt on and 45+ rwhp with a proper tune. I don't know if that's with all things being equal or with some added modifcations.
