Default Radix fuel pressure problem

got an 03 SS with a Radix.

All has been great, went to lunch yesterday and truck ran fine. Got off work and left the parking lot and truck about dies.

AF shoots up to 18~19 and fuel pressure drops to about 20 psi when I give it moderate throttle.

Usual fuel pressure is 55 - 60 psi and now it won't get higher than 40 psi.

Checked for leaks and there's none, vacume line on the regulator is good, inline auxilary pump is working.

Anyone know of anything else I could check?

replace your fuel pressure regulator.

Maybe try adjusting your FPR first, before you spend the money. It takes a security torx(star) bit. Turn it clock wise to raise the pressure. It worked for me.

if you need to adjust a fuel pressure regulator that has been working fine for 3 years then you need a new filter, fuel pump or regulator

How do these things go out? It looks like a metal tube with a screen and some o rings. Just curious of how they work if anyone knows.

Fuel pressure regulators can go out in an instant. That's why I bought a rebuild kit with mine and keep it in the truck, just in case.

There is a diaphragm in there that will fail sooner or later.
