Default Radix is on, Here I go thinkin Part II

This is gonna evolve a tad from my other thread, Here I go thinkin.
I coulda placed in detail or show n shine, but my truck is a driver. It's no Garage Queen like Pat's!!!

I've had my Trick tank awaiting for when I had the Radix on. They, or at least mine came w/. a pr. of -10 A/N fittings. I needed a -10 to a Hose Barb.
Went to a local store, kinda got the wrong answer, so by a stroke of luck got back to same store the next day. This time, I got the right answer, the 1 I was seekin the day before!

These adapters only come in brass for the stock 5/8" intercooler hose (so he said).
I wanted black or blue. So I went to get coated by a place near me.

Pics coming.

I'd love to get tank mounted in this week, but we'll see. Still have fine tuning & so on as mentioned in other thread.

Oh the fun I could have with that post.

So you created a thread for a tank you haven't installed? I'll check back in a couple years for the end result. Lol

Honestly, I wanted to mount it when Radix was put in. 2 things stopped me,
1)I had to get it outta garage for another vehicle to be worked on
2)Forgot where it was temporarily

While it was actually a good thing, cause I needed to chase down fittings, which woulda created a delay in it exiting garage, now I'm probably gonna have to fight gettin hoses worked loose as they fit those barbs pretty tight & worse, coolant all over when IC hoses get loosened.

I had left over hose that woulda probably worked for 1 line, now in all likelyhood, I'm gonna hafta buy 2 hoses. Thus spendin more $ than if I'd just done it in the 1st place.

I'll throw up some pics soon. I hear ya.

Ya know, granted I haven't worked all my bugs out & by that I mean dyno tuned, ran gauges & so on, but on way to get milk w/. my brother, I spot somethin I'm baffled I missed as I entered parkin lot or it wasn't there.

My fav car, or real high on my drool list.

A '68-72 Nova. I see big tires, drag style rims, a lil bulge in hood. So I start my truck, & notice in side rr window lies a plate somethin 502.
So I park, go investigate. I walk over to the OReillys, when the ownercame out as I walked up. We talk, turns out the 502 is gone, I wanna blown up.

In its place, this'll explain the bump thru minor hole in hood...a Procharged 540.
Told me what it ran w/. 502 & some lowly 5-700HP, & that scared him enuff not to make any 1/4 passes w/. the 540. Now it sports a parachute & 1240 HP.

Makes my lil fast truck seem rather insignificant. While talkin we see a 9 sec GN rather thru partin lot, drivin it like he stole it. He says that GN looks fast.

Says the guy who's Nova, I'm guessin based on the 502 pass, is likely a low 8 sec car.

BTW, I later see that 9 sec GN, but he wouldn't pull alongside me. He hangs way back. My brother said he didn't wanna any of this (my truck). It's a standard line of ours.

I just wanted to hear him romp on it, even if I played, & got a whoopin just before headin down my street. So I can say I scared off a 9 sec Grand Nat'l w/. my truck.

Either car, but esp. that Nova was humbling view that faster, way faster is out there.
