conducted some more testing today, everything seems to be in order, no problems whatsoever. TrackDay this friday, that will be a good beating as well.

so far so good, no problems all week, plenty of throttle mashing and bashing.
TrackDay tomorrow, if it lasts through that this mod will get 2 thumbs up!

Just came acrossed this thread Very cool!!! I had thrown this idea around myself after seeing a lightning with those pulleys but lost interest. Now after seeing your set up I'm back on it will start on the pulleys tomorrow at work. Again cool! cool! Good job!!!!

Pulleys made it through the final phase of testing!

Plenty of abuse going on tonight, no problems what-so-ever!

update:


so far so good, these pulleys have taken numerous beatings now, plenty of abrupt "off throttle", "full throttle" situations, nary a problem

Did you use the 112" belt or a smaller one. Are you getting any belt slip?

I use the gates/napa 112.5" belt, same belt that came stock with the kit.

no belt slip that I can tell.

Mine came with a 112 and with the stock pully is slips like crazy. I have to find me a gator back I guess.
