After some testing at higher boost levels we have found that the tensioner that comes with the Radix is not up to the task @ higer loads. It works great at 7 or 8 psi, but when you start getting up to the 10-15 psi range with the smaller pulleys slip and belt fatigue start to show. Below is a picture of the belt tensioner installed on Brian's truck. The 8 rib pulley will allow you to use it with either a 6 rib belt or the ever popular 8 rib balancer. The new tensioner has a stronger arm, and spring to reduce slip and breakage under the heavier loads produced at higher boost levels. Post up if you have any questions.

The Dayco is more than acceptable for stock boost levels. There is no play to eliminate the dayco tensioner for the showroom kits.

Note, I have not seen any evidence of belt slip or had any issues with the belt coming off once I installed the new tensioner.....LOL, I just blew the trans instead.
