I would love to have the tvs2300, even a 1900 but I cant find anything for my year and truck. They all say 07-08+ If someone could point me in the right direction would be helpful.

Also, I've been following the thread on compression. Im currently at about 9.4 with my 317s. Will I want to stay at that and just get some ported heads, or get something with a smaller cc? thanks for all the replys

I should be there now. My first time ever at the track a month or two ago I ran a 14.45 @ 95mph with my 4l65e FLT LVL5 and stock stall. Since then I raised the boost to 10psi from 7psi and added a 4l85e with a yank 3000 stall. I picked up about 30hp and 30trq to the wheels on my tuners mustang dyno and that was running out of fuel up top. They set the redline at 5200 and thats where my peak numbers were and they were still climbing. The truck still had better times in it for sure with more practicing launching and now with this extra power and stall I should be able to hit 13's easily.

If by red hilighted, I hope u weren't referring to me, cause I don't discount a Radix as laggin behind, just not the potntial of TVS. That doesn't make em bad. They've just been superceded by a better blower from the same co. -Maggie.

Dynojet, Dynapac, Mustang whatever, they are there!
That's good enuff for me.

If SincalT/A had capitalized the T it mighta given you a clue, but they're referred to as "Terminators." It's the 2003-2004 Cobra Mustangs. IDK if u even knew what a Terminator was/ is. I know you're not as hip as 1 would think, but cmon, know the competition.

IDK how many 800+ Whipples there are, nor whether which co. has more >800+. Nor do I care, cause I appreciate power in whatever form. IF Whipple is the only co. used on BBC boats, then of course, they'll be the leader. I knew Whipple was used on boats, so they've been @ it for awhile. Usually when a co. has produced a given product, like a marine blower, they've done the engineering to make it work in that application (here marine).
If Maggie were to enter the maine market, it's not that they couldn't, but they'd be fightin a huge uphill battle since W has such a huge market share & recognized name. Maggie & Eaton concentrate on automotive apps. from what I've seen.

True. Why is that? Because they're being replaced w/. a bigger unit, w/. bigger upward potential. They're not replacing a TVS1900/2300. :nunchuk1:

I like my Whipple, its made me go faster....which is why i put it on. But I (me, me alone, no help from Whipple) have worked out the kinks and bugs to get me where I am and I am still not happy. Actually I take that back....there were a bunch here that have helped me too ....sorry. Anyway, do a search under my screen name and you will see some of my issues with Whipple. Its a good blower, but you got some work to do to get it in the power zone you're looking for. CAI, tune, intercooler, fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Is that why you're puttin in a 2300?

BlownChevy, that's fine. They can only begin to gain market share. Like when u said 30,000 S/C sold & so few problems. Of course there'll be more problems by virtue of the sheer amt. out there. Just like if a kid scores a "E" on a test, he has only 1 way to go, UP.
Unless that kid is a dipshit.

I'm sure w/. Maggie doin marine, it'll be a sound product.
