I think id feel safer with one of the bigger named and better designed meth kits...i guess im just skeptical because of the price and the fact that it looks like something I could throw together in my garage.

I've read articles on Mustang forums dating back to 2005.
Nothing electrical to fail...
Jetted by a welding tip...different sizes come with kit...
Jet always sees vacuum being right in front of the compressor...
But until the reservoir is pressurized, the jet doesn't pull fluid.
Reservoir is pressurized when it sees boost...
which in turn feeds the line to the jet.
Very safe, simple and effective IMO.

would this way of ntroducing meth in the intake system cause puddling and creat inconsistant afr readings? what about seals in the actual compressor, coatings on the rotors and compressors ? .

I know of some good things and I know of some bad things about introducing water and/or methanol this way. Not a very popular topic though, because its very controversial and causes arguments...

I have seen this done on friends boosted C5 Corvettes but sine they were running meth injection already this method was used as a third nozzle and of a small size. I have heard of gains driven by the cooler charge but these cars were already at max timing so couldn't add that huge bump mentioned in the "Tuning Tips".

What do you want to know about it? Again its one of those things that sparks a lot of debate because not a lot of people understand how it works. Straight water injection doesn't do much if anything for lowering IATs, as its meant to control heat in the cylinder itself. And that is actually increased octane.

This is a link from AIS website... a few points to consider.
