Staging Lane
Havent tore down yet since they haven't gave me an estimate time-wise on the new pulley. I've measured right at 9" from the top of the intake gasket surface above the injector ports to the top of the blower. I have 9.5" to the top of the hood seal at the rear of the engine bay. Still yet to get something on the front side of the motor to gauge the hood clearance there. Having an aftermarket ram air hood it may not squeeze in there, but I have a buddy local that would be more than happy to trade me for a factory 04 hood that I can pull the liner out of and make work. The magnacharger systems for the GTO seem to be around the same height, so I think just discarding the hood liner I can get it under there.
If it just bolted on easy any schmuck could do it

Roush TVS question
I've been eying this but my Silverado is a 2006 5.3. What kind of modifications am I looking at to try and make this work? Thanks in advance. John

There are a few other recent threads devoted to your question - have a look down a few posts. Also, I'd rather not clutter the purpose of this thread with this subject-digression.

I'm up and running! 2010 Silverado Crew Cab, 4WD,5.3L, 6L80E trans.
I used the specified TMAP sensor and pigtail, but also incorporated another pigtail that plugs into the stock MAP sensor connector. The 2 pigtails are soldered together, and then the IAT was broke out from the stock harness and merged into this circuit. All in all, I only had to cut one wire......clean, OEM look.
Everything fit great, it's just a very well engineered kit (what you'd expect from Roush I suppose). I bought a few extra kits, along with the TMAP sensors and pigtails in case anyone is interested.
