Default Rotrex ?

I was just reading about this product. It sounds like a cross between turbo and supercharger. I'm curious to see how it turns out, numbers look good.

the fact that w2w is pushing it makes me want to think it is really good but it is still just a belt driven blower, isn't it?

that green nova they have has twin rotax blowers. it was running lower 9's and is prety streetable but i have to wonder what it would run with a turbo or two.

I've had a little time working on a truck using that blower. It is quite an impressive piece. Boost comes on rather quick compared to some other units and when using their intercooler system the IAT's stay low even after many wide open runs. It's capable of making a pretty big hp number. I've seen 500 at the tires with it.

what would you guess the 1/4 times to be for a 6.0L truck/auto? I know Imposter has some traction issues getting his best #'s.

Those Rotrex blowers are pretty efficient, they came stock on the old G60 VW Corrado's. It's pretty compact, and made good boost. They were expensive to replace/rebuild though.

At his power level with an auto, he should be in the 11's.

Eventually bearings do, but that's after 60-85k miles depending on use/abuse.
