I was actually thinking about picking up one of those chevy lumina vans, you know the one that looks like a pull-behind vacuum cleaner? Do a custom mid-engine setup with one of those dime a dozen 4.8L engines and turbo it. Nobody would expect to be roasted at a stoplight by a 1990s soccer mom van...

Hahaha thatd be sweet man

I know you live and learn, and installing things twice can make you a good mechanic, But like I said I cant afford those extra screw ups. And I am really close with my tuner who installs all my stuff, most of the time I am there watching. I would help if I could without getting trouble from his insurance co.

My truck is my DD so i cant just park it for a 3-4 days or a week while I install something slowly to make sure its done right..

I Pretty much do my own installs unless it involves internal work or rear end work.. Im sure I could do cam installs and things If I could let my truck sit and take my time doing the install with the proper tools then Id be good to go.. I am only 19 turning 20 so I still have lots of learning to do..

Hey now hey now...we are "close" but not that kinda close (Like you and parker, always holding hands giving me the creeps)...

In case anyone didnt hear the results,

quez82's truck made approx 480 rwhp with this kit on a mustang dyno (1100SE eddy current loaded to 5250lbs). That was on a hot pull right after marking several pulls before it. Kit was a real clean easy install other than needing to fab a little holddown for the original map sensor which was no biggie.

Cool it off for awhile sitting on the dyno and youd see 500 rwhp on a mustang dyno. Really solid numbers.
