Roush TVS 1900 New Install....No Boost
Hey guys. Kind of new to the forum and hoping someone might direct me on some troubleshooting tips.
Last week, I installed a TBSS Roush TVS 1900 kit on my 2006 Silverado SS. By the way, don't let anyone tell you it's no big deal and just a couple of mods are necessary. Pretty much everything was a pain in the _ss.
Everything is installed, programmed the system for WOT with a wideband, but there's no extra power. It's barely faster than it was before the install. We put a boost gauge on it and I only have about 2 lbs of boost. Also, the typical supercharger whine is non-existant.
I removed the supercharger from the intake, thinking maybe the o-ring was displaced during install, but no deal. I also disconnected the vacuum hose from the bypass valve to see if that was causing the problem, but again nothing.
Short of taking everything apart, I'm not sure what else to check. I don't really see how that much air volume would be lost anywhere in the system. Also, since I'm not hearing the supercharger whine, I am at a loss. Any ideas?

You should have more than 2 psi of boost with the stock pulley.
Im assuming you have a stock 6.0 ? Tell us your mods.
Wander if your bypass valve is sticking?
Like Z71on DUBZ said maybe your belt isnt tight enough, Where is your Belt tensioner indexed at? IE is the mark on the tensioer in the middle, left, or right side??

Is it an absolutely static 2psi, at all RPMs with enough throttle position to get into boost? If it moves around, then its likely belt slip since it would be more random. If its 2psi no matter what, check the bypass actuator. They rotate in a pretty tight bore and if there is the tiniest obstruction, it will prevent that valve from moving. Put a hand pump on the actuator and pump it up to about 15 inches of vacuum. It should move almost the entire plunge depth of the actuator. If not, you'll need to pull the blower to ensure the valve is working properly.

He cant have a static any-psi under any circumstance short of a faulty gauge
You're not building boost. A disconnected BPV will return to closed state, so at idle you will surge like crazy because the blower ALWAYS pumps air. If its not surging badly, the BPV is stuck/faulty or you have a big leak
I also disconnected the vacuum hose from the bypass valve to see if that was causing the problem, but again nothing.
