Yep, there is no factory boost port, at least mine didn't have one. Taped in the manifold for boost gauge.I think I have some picture floating around here somewhere. BTW mine made just under 7lbs of boost almost instantly at wot from an idle.

I'm using the "factory" intake boost side tap that came on the unit. I have my MAP and Kenne Bell sensors on the same line. I have checked the line and there aren't any leaks.
When you state that you were getting 4.5 to 5 lbs, at what RPM did you get that pressure? I get about 3 to 3.5 until I hit about 5000 RPMs, then it climbs to 5 lbs. Like I said above, it makes a lot of sense that I am using up all of the air until the motor get's inefficient, then it climbs. But I keep hearing that with a stock internals 6.0 that I should have about 6 lbs.
I already pinned the crank, so the balancer isn't spinning. I am going to look for the idler pullies to get a better wrap around the SC pulley just to make sure. Is 100mm the best size for maximum wrap?

Can you post some pics of where you put a port in to measuring boost and the machined snout. If its possible id like to get those measurement of the snout. Have you found out your boost issue? Thanks guys

Got a 2.75" pulley from southfloridapulleyhq.com. I haven't sent out the snout for machining yet, but hope to soon. It's a keyed pulley, so I will have to get the shaft cut for that.
Problem with low boost was partially from the belt slipping. I put belt conditioner on the belt and installed an HD tensioner which fixed the problem. With my cats out, I still only make about 3-5 lbs of boost, so I expect 8-10 with the new pulley. I also installed a quieter muffler which added about .5 lbs due to lower flow.
I travel a lot, so I don't have much time to play with the truck. I will try to post pictures when I do get the snout machined and new pulley installed.
