So, Tim Z, what did you end up doing? What pressure are you pushing right now? I am looking for more boost. My TVS 1900 is only pushing out 3-3.5 lbs. What did you do to get the pressure up?

Had my snout machined to accept maggie keyed pulleys.

I am running a 2.85 pulley and see peak boost @ 10psi. on my combo.

I also have an HD tensioner from leftcoast Joe, and twin 101 mm gates idler pullies.

I'll get a better pic up after work. Heres some quick phone pics.

I can see how those pullies give you a better wrap on the SC. It looks like the tensioner you are using is 90 degrees off from mine. Looks like it would work fine, though. I guess you had to resize the belt after this mod? Are you pushing 10 lbs on the stock internals? I bet 10 lbs makes for some serious fun!

Yep, stock LQ4 , only changes are cam, PAC 1518 valve springs, LS7 Lifters, 7.4 pushrods.

These engines can handle boost easy, im gonna turn it up to 12#'s soon.

10# is awesome, truck is a fuggin beast! 300' long posi burnouts with out power braking it!!!!

4x4 launches are awesome too, spins the front tire!

You will love your blower once you turn up the boost.

Remember my engine is less restrictive than stock as i have a cam, Long tube headers and dual exhaust as well as a 90mm throttle body and intake. So results may vary !

Cant wait till it stops raining for track times.

Well i should update this thread as to help possibly anyone who might search this topic down the road. Old news to most hahahahaha.

Truck makes 12 psi with 13-14 psi spikes.
Using an Innovators West overdriven crank pulley with a 2.6 blower pulley.
My combo may vary from others, remember boost is a measurement of restriction.

Truck made 562 at the wheels thru a t case and 4L80e on a 90+* day, easily will put down 600 with a touch more timing and cooler weather.

Wow, Tim! Great numbers! I still haven't sent my snout off to get it machined yet. I haven't had time but plan to soon. I had a 2.7" pulley built that's sitting on my toolbox ready to be installed. I can only imagine the difference. Still on stock bottom end?

Damn... I'd still love to do this, but I haven't changed a single thing on mine.... Lol
