I have S400sx (171702) 75mm compressor wheel, 96/88mm turbine wheel, T6 1.32 exhaust. I am building a forged 370 (slowly) to replace the 4.8 currently in the truck, but I thought about throwing the turbo on now (front mount) on the current LS6 cammed 4.8 (after removing the blower), using flipped/modified truck manifolds, and turning up the boost to 12-15 lbs and see how it holds together. I might install a set of head studs on it for extra insurance at the sametime.

The rest of the drivetrain details are in the sig.

Gonna take forever to spool but once it does it should be pretty fun

i would think it would spool slow also,, maybe you could use some kind of spool valve

yeah didnt smokeshow use one on his a couple years back and have good success with it? would be cool to see that setup on your 4.8.

It will def be laggy below 2500 RPM, but should be at 5 psi by 3000 and all in by 3300-3500.

I guess I will find out soon enough.

I am glad I have billet 3600 stall converter. Otherwise it would seem like a lifetime to spool.
