im running T4 - S475 on my 6.0L. you need, small cam for low end tq, a good tune, wrap hot pipes/turbo to keep the heat in, pressure test cold pipes/BOV for leaks to keep the boost in, and the lag wont be too bad. I have a 3200 stall, IMO is too high. But, I can spin 32" tires at 50mph no prob.

im runing the s475 on my LQ4 and love it.. very little lag and comes in sooner and stronger than the 60mm rear mount i first ran years ago.
but on a 4.8,, i can see it being a lil slow to come on.
