I want to build a intercooler for my truck and need to have an elbow come off the blower. The piping kit i wana get is a basic set off ebay the eblows in the kit look realy flimsy and im worried about it sucking shut under vacumm. Anybody using elbows in there intake setups or know where to get some wire reinforced ones?

Do you have a off manifold KB like mine or ??? I am guessing so. If so you cant use a regular elbow, yes it will suck shut and or rip it due to it seeing full manifold vaccum.

i THINk a lot of people have good luck with intakeelbows .com or whatever it is....

Yah its over the right valve cover, yours is intercooled? Did you try even a 4 or 5 ply elbow and it didn't work STS seems to have an elbow that works with a turbo it comes as part of there kit. How much louder is you blower with the intercooler.
