single vs twin discussion

this brings up my question again about turbine size vs compressor size. to me it seems that if the turbine wheel is bigger than the compressor wheel it would have more leverage over the compressor wheel. so it would spool easier while flowing very well. to a point, obviously a 100mm turbine and a 50mm compressor would be stupid. i understand that you still have the weight of the turbine wheel to turn....

Yes and no. .
Since the hot gasses are hauling *** you can easily go to big on the ex wheel. To much drive psi will force the thrust area to wear out. I waned precision to build me the pt88 ex with 76comp in a journal bearing. Said nope because of the side load or drive force was to great so it was a no go.

Could go with our low mount twin kit. But you would have to run a return oil pump.

Yeah, but your talking about a 76/94mm setup I believe, which Stock48 has ran with a Garret turbo and torn up a few thrust bearings! lol. These BW's are only 62/68's and the 68, is probable the big side of the turbine. Much closer in size. I'll know for sure once they show up and I can measure them for sure. But I'm thinking they will make nice 1Khp turbos
