Default Smoking bad first couple min at start up

It just started when it got hot up here and is really embarassing.

Here is the set-up-

6.0L LQ9 50k miles

225/225 113LSA .581"/.581" Patriot Gold w/valve seal that came with them
5000 miles

Livernois Turbo Kit With PT70GTS Turbo 10000 miles

The truck will smoke really bad out of the exhaust at start-up after a min or two or driving, like the first stop sign or light, after a few more min of driving, everything is ok, no smoke at any time even under WOT. I can even let the truck idle for ever with no smoke.

It is a whiteish blue tinted smoke, smells like oil but has a sweat smell, head gasket? the temp gauge does some weird things at times but never over heats and never uses any coolent what so ever, even oil, never used any in 4000 miles sinse the last oil change. Vary weird

What do you guys think, my first thoughts were valve seals but im not sure about the turbo. If it was the turbo, i would figure it would do it all the time.
Just need some thoughts and a direction since it is a daliy driver, dont have the option right now of down time.

yep, drained down to the pan with a 3/4" line, if it was a turbo drain problem, it would do it all the time, after 10-15 min of driving, it will stop smoking and never smokes under load or WOT.

if it was smoking at idle, i can brake boost it and the smoke will stop or a least go to almost 0, (some left in the exhaust)

I was going to say head gasket but you said coolant and oil levels are fine....

Could be valve seals like you said. Seals usually cause smoke after sitting awhile. Then will clear up. Usually long periods of idle as well. Which you said it doesn't smoke if idling awhile. They could be just starting to show signs of wear. Maybe the guides getting worn as well. When they heat up, it tightens up the clearance, so no smoke.

that was always the weirdest thing, i think im going to have a buddy bring it into boost hard and ill put a block tester on it at the same time just to see.

i can let it sit there and idle after driving it though, it would seem to smoke for ever when its cold.

something is leaking down and then the exhaust gets hot and burns it out

i was thinking of leavin it on my rack for a few hours and throwing a bore scope down a couple ports, intake and exhaust and seeing where this could be coming from, just wish i had a direction, to many points right now.

I would lean toward valve seals.

thats what i was thinking cause of the condition, i wounder if under boost it blew a couple seals off the head and are just taking a ride on the valve, i might just find another set of heads and go that route, get a new set of head gaskets too with some head studs.

just worried about the bottom end and the turbo too, doesnt seem like it could be but you never know i guess

Your oil pressures might be higher when cold, causing some oil to blow by the turbo bearings untill she warms up and thins out...
