Hey I spray my intercooler! But pretty much just for when Im towing , and towing in traffic. Plus i had mine before the meth. IM NOT A ****** RICER. He he J/K im not offended.

 

Liquid nitrogen or go home....I was thinking about this the other day after watching something on the tv about how cold nitrogen is. Spraying the heat exchanger in my case...

 

It would have to be liquid nitrogen, but that would probably freeze it and make it break into pieces. Compressed nitrogen is not cold at all when it comes out of a bottle.

 

If the nitrogen was sprayed into a fog it would be ok, but any more concentrated may cause things to shrink

then get frozen moisture between fittings,

then have water between fittings after warming up and possibly blow off some connections??

yes im spraying 100% meth, but i dont have a intercooler on yet and my maf is take out timeing. i think the intercooler and meth will help out a lot. just a thinking of things to try if it does not work. thanks for the info

 

If you run 100% meth injection you can get away with pretty high IATs before your timing suffers if you do your own tuning. I see 150*+ with 24* timing and no knock. Lower IATs are always better and will make more power, but at the cost of an additional system on the truck.

i kicked the idea around of spraying the intercooler...yes it is used on imports but some of them have excellent results

 

I would hook up your purge to a spraybay and then spray the intercooler.

 

the meth is after the maf, so it does not see the cooler IATs, im going to cut the IATs and move it after the MAF so it will see the the cooler air.
