Stock 5.3L Preparing for a turbo
hi ive got a 2002 Chevy Silverado 5.3L after doing some reading on here im going to go with the trick performance parts front mount intro. What i have read im problely going to need some new stronger pistons right. anything else ive left out maybe some tranny work whats yalls suggestions thanks for yalls time

You will also need our front mount intercooler, at least 42lb injectors,a fuel pump, a new tune, and a quick trip to the muffler shop. (muffler shop not needed if you have fab skills for final exhaust connections).
A good engine with a good tune your will be fine, just walk up on the power.
Several customer run 8+psi on daily drivers.
How soon are you looking at pulling the trigger.?

If you are going the the trouble of going into the motor, why not upgrade the rods, rod bolts, go to main studs, and rings for boost to go around those pistons. Oh, and balanced rotating assembly.

yea i was looking in to the LS2 6.0L i was think about going to the junk yard and finding a totaled express van and pull the engine and the 4l80e Tranny from it and rebuild both then wait awhile and get the turbo. wut yall think. thanks for yalls suggestions thanks trickperformanceproducts guy ill give u a call when im ready for that turbo bud
