It can be triggered off of the map or MAF sensor , I'm using the map.
The lines are braided stainless and braided nylon in the kit, not cheap plastic like the other kits, the pump is rebuild able and is rated and modded by Julio to handle straight meth, snow and devils own cant do that. This is the big boy kit for serious guys , as you see who runs his kits , he' big with turbo Buick GNs ,and LS stuff .
The **** is for adjustment , there is a test button for priming the system and making sure it sprays at idle so you know your good to go for WOT runs , along with an LED that turns from red to green when it's spraying.
I haven't used it yet obviously , but I'm sure others can chime on how it works.

Progressive- Yes
Lines- Stainless braided
Trigger- Mine is triggered by a 2bar MAP sensor, you can adjust turn on pressure. IIRC mine turns on at 5-6psi, I think thats what I have it set at now.
Big **** is a gain adjustment, (Volume) in one of the other boxes you adjust turn on pressure and how fast it ramps up to full pressure.

No worries !

I had an Alky Control kit for about 6 years. Julio was a great guy to deal with. I ran straight meth with an M15 nozzle. I used it to supplement fuel and add octane which resulted in more timing.
The 2 issues I had were leaking pumps. The original leaked after about 2 years and I bought a new one. The new one lasted about 1 year and it leaked. Julio fixed the seals for the cost of parts and shipping. He said it may be because I didn't run a meth filter.
The other issue I had was that at low rpm high load areas, it would flood the engine with meth. There was a huge hole in my VE table to compensate, but I never could get it right. I tried with the gain **** and ramp rate, and never got it perfect. And as of others have said, if you run straight meth and you are out, you can't go wot because the engine will go lean.
I sold my meth kit, got larger injectors, and probably make about 20hp less. I went from 19 degrees of timing to about 17. And it is probably on the edge more than ever in the heat.

I've had two of Julio's kits, one for my CCSB and another one that I bought from Dusty about 4 years ago and have run it since then. I like his product, it's well thought out but I do have two complaints...
1) My Map sensor took a dump at the mojave mile earlier this year which is weird because there are no moving parts in it, just fried itself I guess. (I held down the test button during two of the runs to compensate! )
2) Although his kit is well made and thought out, it's dated. The kit consists of four bulky plastic boxes a couple of which are zip tied together. I understand the different components of the system but it would be nice if the pieces could be integrated together for a cleaner more compact more efficient and user friendly application.
It could be that I have an older system and he's since upgraded some of it, but I will add that Julio is great to deal with and super helpful and always always has great customer service!! I wouldn't go with any other kit personally.
