STS Turbo kits,who's got em....
I bought an STS turbo kit direct from STS, I had the misfortune of totalling my truck,or actually somebody else did it for me, but anyway I don't know if I'm going to sell it or buy another ECSB truck, so maybe I just need some motivation, who's running these kits, and what kind of mods.,times,power/torque are you all getting out of these kits?Thank you for all replies in advance....

First off let me start by saying that I love my STS. My setup reads like this:
-built 4.8l
-67mm STS kit
-FMIC
-STS boost contoller
-12# wastegate spring
-LS1 heads (ported and polished)
-21x/22x cam
This set up has made 547rwhp with 18# of boost. That was with the small 42# injectors. The setup should now make 600+rwhp with the new intake and bigger injectors. Many other members on this site have had great results with their STS kits too. I suggest keeping the kit if you plan on buyin a new truck anyways.

I've got 1 and I LOVE it. Best thing I ever did to my truck! All stock, but the injectors. I'm running 7 lbs of boost. Took it to the track for the first time the other weekend and it ran 14.6 a 92. Not to bad for a heavy 4x4 pick up with only a 293 ci motor .

i got 1 too!, I absolutley love it, my sig says it all, although ill be running 10#s soon, waiting for spring to get some #s, this is my first venture into the world of forced induction,i ve learned alot but i wouldnt change my choice in turbo kits. im very happy with it,you definitley need to get the intercooler. it runs 10 times better feels so strong.this heavy truck constantly puts large smiles on my face, credit first to chevrolet, second to STS and NELSON TUNING.

I've had mine on for about a year now and have had some issues here and there but all have been resolved fairly quickly.
All my mods are in my sig. The next thing I need is the intercooler.
Never had it dynoed or to the track yet, this spring I'll be going to the track when it opens here.
