I think hes trying to save on the cost.

I don't even think the kits come with blow off valve's i think there is so much piping it doesn't matter with low boost.

It seems like it comes with just enough to get it started.

exactly enough to get it started, i can add the blow off valve kit for an extra 300, that adds up to around 2000 for the kit, but the reason to buy the kit is, so that i dont have to just drop 5000 on the spot, i can buy parts and all through the duration of like a year, maybe its just me but i cant really save up 5-6 grand or get a loan for that much, lol, but the Universal kit comes with the exact same turbo, wastegate, etc., so its not like its cheap crappy parts, plus you have the freedom off being more creative with this kit and mount the turbo were you want, just seems like a good idea to me.

plus what i was thinkin, now i havent looked at the parts and how the fitment would be and all, but think about a exhaust that exits outside the front of the back tire, less cost of pipeing, and less piping for the turbo to travel though which would eqaul alot less turbo lag and an ease of pushin higher psi, probly cut a hole in my bed(yes i sad cut, i dont care) and mount the manual boost controler on the side of the bed, or even have a snokle type design for the intake and run it up over the cab, kinda like the kit for the old toyota MR2, so i could get better air flow and less chance of sucking water in, all just an idea though lol
