TVS are pretty efficient, even up top, just sayin...... 
I think I would agree with Zippy's post on this one, pretty well said. Only thing I'd add is that to get similar part throttle torque as a Magnacharger you'll have to run a bit more boost(peak) with the Centri. It's just the nature of the two beast and how they work. Nothing wrong with either type.
