Default supercharger oil lines

I'm fabricating a novi 1000 to fit my 5.3. Where do I get my oil supply from and is there any where to attach the drain? If I don't have to I don't want to drill any new holes for fear of getting fillings in teh engine and blower.

You will get the oil feed from the piece right above the filter, the oil return goes to the side of the pan. There is plenty of drilling . Here are detailed instructions http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...s/4gl218im.pdf

Yeah I kinda stumbled upon that this afternoon. I pulled the block off and theres 2 holes there and the block looks to create the loop or I guess you can drill out a spot on the spout of the block. Does anybody know which one of the 2 holes is the feed? This way I can tap both holes and use them as my feed and drain that way I don't have to drill the oil pan.

I was looking at the install manual that greentahoe linked me to and the vortech looks exactly like my paxton novi 1000. Is there anybody that knows if they are the same or not cause if they are then i'll buy that bracket instead of making my own.

I remember hearing something about them being almost identical. Call paxton or vortech and they should be able to clarrify. Also dont use the same hole for feed and return, the tap near the filter is pressurized and the other in the pan is not. That is the reason for the different locations. You need to set ip up that way.

No I wasn't planning on using the same hole for the feed and drain. There are 2 side by side I took a pic but it says its too big and I don't know how to shrink it. If one is pressurized then the other has to be a drain. But which one the right or left? I have the engine apart so I can't crank it over to find out.
