Superchargers, Blowers, & Gas Milage?

i believe if you just put a blower or turbo on a stock engine and leave it how it is out of the box then you will increase mileage. of course mileage is going to depend on your foot. most people loose mileage because they are like me and cant stay out of it.

I can see how that would help mpgs. You truck has more power, there for it doesn't have to work as hard and cunsume as much fuel to move. If you have to give it less gas, then you should be able to get better mileage. Assuming that your mods don't dump more fuel into the engine than it did stock. I know that this a very basic and unscientific way of looking at it, but it still makes sense.

It needs to make the same power (and now turn the blower). It works just as hard at the same rpm. The same amount of air goes through, it just does it through less throttle opening because its denser.
