Default t-76 .96ar S-trim!

how well will this work on a forged 370?

I thought it was a q-trim at first but its an s-trim?

someone please tell me the differences whether the S trim is better or worse.

i have been into turbos for awhile now and i can't answer that question. just too many options.

it could be a gts76. if it is then the hp potential is very high. 1150hp. a basic t76 wich i think is a q trim is rated for something like 900 or 950. i dont know if that is the S part or not. might be a s trim exhaust wheel and then i dont know what that means.

there are trims for the compresor and trims for the turbine. i think when you see something like "gts" the s is in refrence to the compresor.

in any case it will be great for a forged 6.0. max potential of at least 640rwhp but if it is the gts then well over 700rwhp cranked all the way up. i would say a prety good match up for lag vs max hp for a street/race truck.

does it have a 3" outlet on the compresor?

I had a precision 76-gts on a 370 and at 10psi it made 539/578rw on 7 cyls. Spool time was very quick. It was a T4 flange, 4" inlet flange and a 3" turbine outlet on the downpipe.

just a guess but i think since it has the 3" outlet on the cover it is the "s cover" and rated for 1150hp. should be a bad *** turbo.
