T6 turbo input

i used a cup on power steering pulley install tool and got it to sit a little bit past flush with the snout, started galling up the threads trying to go any further though.
with straight edge from crank pulley, tensioner and alternator are dead on. power steering is a very tiny bit out like >1/32" with the front of the pulleys. with the green belt the tensioner was about max'd out according to the markings on it , threw my old, well worn belt back on which put the tensioner back close to the middle mark. I'll keep an eye on it i guess
circle d - to make 6l80 converter into 4l80 converter was 400 iirc, that was including trade in on the first 6l80 converter i had from them though

TECH Junkie
Man I hadn't seen this build. It is a damn good read! Really sorry about the disaster but I'm pretty confident you'll handle it in style. Kill it brother!

long story short... im an idiot
just to pretense this i was never under delusion that the sbe/trans was going to hold up to what i wanted.
a few months after after getting the turbo pretty well sorted the first time around, i started messing with a pos manual boost controller and 6lb spring in. turned it up - nothing, turned it up - nothing, turned it wayyyy up hoping it would do "something" and thinking worst case it should be kinda lazy spooling up and i could catch it. Well, it wasnt lazy at all, BOV was working overtime sounded like a procharger set up, made a quick little hit - hell of a lean pop so i babied it back home everything sounded fine ran fine, pulled the log : 50% tps and about 4000rpm, map sensor was like 250kpa+ absolute (25psi+). threw mbc in the trash and just left it on wastegate lol.
couple days later started making some clacking noise - ran down the usual checks and decided to go ahead and pull engine and see what happened.
rod #7 took a bad hit, piston skirt from the rod being bent scraped the cyl wall. should have just built a block then but i just slammed a new rod/bearing back in it, dingleberried the cyl and threw it back in. ran good till it didnt, knew it was a timebomb but if it was going to come apart id rather it happen when i wasnt relying on it. after the 4l80 swap i was just getting everything hammered out - transmission is awesome for the couple weeks i was able to drive it.
doing a pull, top of 2nd prob 90mph or so and it let go...there were parts flying out and tumbling down the road next to me, wasnt sure if it was engine, trans, or transfer case and then it just shut off and i had a 300ft streak of oil down the road.
blew out the block on both sides (other side isnt wide open but cracked), broke the starter, broke the cam bolt/alignment pin, back of block hit the flex plate and knocked the head off of 1 bolt, cracked the pan, had to get the pan off - loosen 2 main caps so i could get the broken pieces of rod out of the way to spin the crank and separate the converter/flexplate to pull engine.

past couple weeks trying to figure out what i wanted to do with it from junkyard engine > low mile 6.0> mild/wild gm block> lsx/dart
came down to low mile 6.0 or f-it lsx/dart build
so like the irresponsible adult i am - talked with thompson and a dart build is paid for.
i need to break down the heads and see if they can be saved - 1 chamber has some dings, bent a few valves, and it looks like one of the outer head bolt tabs is kinda "stressed" if theyre no good it may turn into a long block
