what would be the biggest motor a tc78 could run on and push 15psi? with say a 1.52 divided a/r housing. that's the biggest they may make for the 68mm f1 turbine wheel.

A buddy of mine is going with one with a 408 oh its a front mount. I would say on a 370 it would be pretty stout

Did you call and make sure you could get that housing? The biggest they would send me is a 1.15 with the 68mm F1 turbine. That combo is still worked pretty hard on a 370. I just do not see the point of that turbo with a 400+CI engine???? With the 370 you can make boost at 1800 going down the road lol.

so the turbonetics guys feels confident that this turbo will supply 15psi to a 402 and pull to 6000rpm with out excesive back pressure.

I think it would be fine on a 402 with only spinning it that fast. I like to keep turbos a bit on the small side in trucks any way, just so your in the usable power band of them any way. A big turbo is great if your building a track only car and can launch with a 2 step all the time, but for a street driven vehicle like your truck, a smaller turbo on a bigger motor is WAY more fun! Almost no lag, but still has a descent top end

A 370 is a 4.030 bore so you have the same head choices as a 4xx engine.
