seems like you would want a lot of lift for more air flow but it seems like that Isky triple 12 cam is doing well in FI applications.

If your heads don't flow any better at .630 lift then they do at .550 lift, then you won't gain anything except more stress on your valvetrain. Our stock heads and mildly ported heads seem to like anywhere from .540-.600 roughly.

Not completely true. Yes, the higher lift cam will place more stress on the spring and the valve seat in accelerating from and to the valve seat (due to quicker acceleration rates).

BUT, As long as the heads don't decrease in flow above that previous lift (.550) you are actually gaining degrees (time) that the valve is open allowing that flow to happen at the higher .550" rate rather than a lower rate with a cam with max lift of .630". It's gaining area under the curve, amount of flow capacity that the valve will allow, and in this case, is aided in by the Turbo compressor. Just like the "quick lift" cams from Crane, and similar designations from Lunati, Isky "max flow", la la la la...... It's widening the parabola that is the lift curve.

If your valvetrain is built for it, and the heads don't drop off, no reason not to try.
