Its a Vinci 208/218 .551/.551 116. Cams aren't as important with FI, cuz you can add power MUCH easier with just a little more boost. If I change it out, it will be to something Isky that Stock48 specs for me

I'm curious to see how this work as well.

Blownchevy mentioned something about the elbow collapsing, mine does the same thing, that's because when the throttle body is opened quickly, there is a vac created because the engine is trying to suck in air and the opening on my sts is all the way in the rear of the vehicle and has to go through an intercooler, I know you know this, but I'm thinking the same thing might happen, but of course you're running metal tubing, so it can't collapse.
So, will this setup see a bog off the line and lack of power due to the lack of air trying to be drawn?
Also, that charger makes your engine seem like a 7.0L, so will a small T76 be enough to fill the requirements a 7.0L wants. Does it work the same way when sizing a turbo, i don't know lol?
I know I don't put anything less than a T76 on a 5.3L, and you're putting it a 5.3L that's going to draw the air of a bigblock.

I'd like to see the pressure at the turbo log and and downpipe. That's a lot of exhaust you're trying to get rid of through a 3.0" downpipe, at least that's what I think you're running.

Just questions I have in my head, I hope it works for you and makes great power, we're all waiting!

I say get some e fans to free up some space also. It is a cool project and I can't wait to see it run.

You may have one of the quickest turbo trucks around racing from off idle.

I have a lot of the same questions you have about it Allen. That's why I'm just going to put it together with what I currently have and see what happens. It's like what that engineer guy in that link I posted a while back said, you really can't design a setup like this on paper, because you don't know how the 2 compressors are going to work together. All I can do is put the pieces together and see what happens and make changes from there. I already have a bigger WG lined up as well as a 3 1/2 DP started and have been researching bigger turbos, so I'm ready for what ever it's gona need.

I did have a bit of a set back that's gona kill having it running this weekend, as the tb adapter plate isn't gona work, so I said the heck with it and just ordered an Edelbrock 90mm TB today. Won't have it till the middle of next week though

There is always something to deal with isn't there!

Next week will be better.

Good luck with the rest of it.

Does any body else think that turbo will spool up super fast with that blower making more exhaust. I'll bet it kicks in way before a truck with a turbo alone would.

Yup, you are right on about that assumption. That SC will, as someone mentioned earlier, make the displacement of that engine seem much bigger than it is. So he'll have more exhaust gasses to deal with at lower RPM's where his engine N/A wouldn't be producing as much. That is also why people are thinking that his turbo is a little small where normally it would be a good fit for that size engine.
