Why not just go with a cummins lol...you could even be different and go with a 4bt? Not to sound like a redneck but that would be hard to beat by any gasoline engine when it comes to pulling...

If i wanted to go the route I would buy a duramax. The diesel classes around here are too expensive. Staying with gas. As far as a gas engine beating a diesel, It was done a couple times last year by a 502bb. He out pulled 3 pretty well built cummins trucks. But that is another discussion for later.
