The day I was going to order this turbo I ended up going with something different, IM all about trying new hopefully better things, my brother and a buddy of mine both got s475 now so I thought id try out a new turbo that came out the day I was going to order it. It's a turbonetics turbo, it uses the same 78mm compressor wheel as the hurricane turbo but have a slightly larger cover to flow more air, then on the hot side it has a split flange t4 1.15ar housing but have a 75mm (small side) turbine wheel that they use in some of there y2k turbos. This dude is rated at 1100hp , the turbo is almost identical to the precision 76-75 turbo I just got the 78, this one is also a ball bearing unit and is a direct swap cause it still had the 4in inlet 2.5 out on the cold side and a 3in out on the ex. There list price is 1400 on these and I picked it up for 1100. Should be the first to try this turbo out, pretty excided about it!

Got it for a decent price. And a direct swap is a plus as well!

Well if its any consolation, We have a good friend here in the small town of Sublette Ks, that bought kazfan30's old turbo 5.3, and it will soon have a BW s475/83mm turbo. We'll have results on it next year

I know that was alot of deciding just to change my mind lol, I don't dout at all the turbo you got will out run this one, bw are top notch performance wise. Butit's not gunna out run yours eaither way, got a long way to go before it's ever there, just wanted something with good manners and made more power in the 15-16 psi range.

I dont see any reason why the tnetics 78-75 won't be just as good as a Borg with a 83mm wheel. There real close in specs. The billet compressor wheel that foose has and the big race cover will Prolly be the advantage between the 2...
