got that, going with a LQ9/4L80E conversion. As far as the beat to fit method goes, I have no issues with that, just trying to keep it to a bare minimum if you know what I mean. Just figured that I would throw it out there to see if anyone has done the kit on one of these conversion so I can see what they might have run into as far as issues go.

The build will not actually start until about march of 2010. I will be deployed to Iraq again for a year (JAN 09- JAN 2010). Right now I am collecting info, and once I get in country there will be some serious internet shoping happening. I hope to have everything together so when I get back, I can get her together.

I will definetly be posting a writup, and documenting as much as I can. Thinking of going with a 408 iron block with the 4L80E setup now and stepping up the turbo size to a 76mm.
