Yea its also supposed to be baked in an oven after you spray it on. I bought two cans but didnt realize that until afterwards so I didnt end up using it.

A trick for keeping the fiberglass type dust down, put the whole roll of wrap in a bucket with some water in it. As you wrap your pipes, just pull it out of the bucket. Ive done this a couple times on some pipes for harleys. Not sure how it will affect using the spray though.

Ya the silicone spray is for the outside of the wrap. But can also be used directly on the metal.

The titanium wrap boasts that you don't need to paint at all but I just wondered is some guys did to help protect the metal. Thanks for all the input so far.

SS pipes are 1500.00

standard aluminumized is 1200.00

No real need in wrapping the crossover, its under the truck. The DP saves a little heat inside the engine bay.

The titanium basically fell apart in my hands the first time I took it off to get to the stainless, not to mention you get the fiberglass in dust form that covers you when working around it. If I had it to do over I would use the wrap on my downpipe for everything, I haven't tried to remove it yet but it still looks like new.

I remember that DP. Manual cut out flange. Also remember the 3am trip to fort worth to make it fit a torsion bar truck.

I know I'm gonna wrap them with DEI titanium wrap.
But I'm debating on painting them and then wrapping them. What do y'all think?

Would I be fine just wrapping them?

Glad you got them ok. Remember they come with a 1year warranty.
Wrapping the crossover will not do much for the under hood temps, wrapping the DP and getting a turbo shield/blanket will help a bunch.
