Trick Performance Hot Pipes

Thanks Rick
I have a turbo blanket on order as well as some other heat shielding things for the AC Lines etc.
Would wrapping the cross over help prolong the life / protect them from debris hitting them? It'd be in a dry climate IE phoenix.

The wrap will shorten any tubing lifespan. How much hard to say, really depends on the set up how much boost, etc. You are holding heat in and holding moisture between the wrap and the pipe.
Wrap will give you a slight barrier from debris.
There were some gaskets in the box as well, wrapped up in card board, with gasket written on it. You will need those.

Gotchya I figured they were. I'll be sure to do ask if i have any issues whenever I get back in town and the rest of the kit. I've seen a couple people been putting the waste gate on backwards hopefully it'll go smooth.
KLUG SS is going to assist me and depending on timing Maybe a couple people's.

No I didn't paint the pipes prior to wrapping. One reason was that I haven't had good luck with the silicone spray in the past. Two that I will be making a new setup out of stainless steel when the time arrives, and the stock manifold won't rust like normal steel headers do. The log manifold is out of black pipe and basically will do the same thing as the stock manifold. It will surface rust as it's way of protection.
I wrapped my crossover piping to keep the heat contained from my trans and reduce the floor temps.
As for safety wire, I used .051 stainless wire. When used with the safety wire pliers, it is extremely tight.
The only thing I didn't like about the Titanium wrap is how it frayed after you cut it. The wrap is very easy to work with, and is way tighter than the fiberglass wrap I have used (over 500' overall) The trick like mentioned earlier with the fiberglass wrap is to soak it in a bucket of water, and pull tight. Your arms will hurt when your done with it for sure.
