Default Trick Performance Kit ordered need help with the other necessities?

I ordered the kit but need help with the other stuff. This is my daily driver so I need to start the install on a Friday night and be finished by Monday morning to take kids to school. I don't want to be stuck waiting for a part I did not know I needed. The truck is a 09 Silverado crew cab 1500 5.3 flex fuel my goals are modest somewhere between 450-500 hp depending on what the 6 speed can handle. I am looking for the minimum needed to safely run the turbo. Nothing fancy for now. I have read a lot of build threads but everyone does thing differently so hard to figure out what exactly is needed. My list so far.

Dyno Tune

wideband/boost gauge (I think I will be using dash logic with PLX device)

Fuel injectors ( I think 60# hopefully I can find used ones) not sure what will fit my truck they are kind of confusing.

That's all I got I'm sure there is more. I have read things about catch cans, map sensors, and so on. Not sure how much of this stuff will be needed after getting my stage 2 kit from trick. Any help with the list is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Things you will need.

Tuning
Dyno and real life street tuning.
Find some one that knows how to tune turbo trucks.
Dyno s are good to base line stuff but real work street driving can fine tune the truck to your driving style and needs.

Fuel injectors 60lbs are good to go.
possible fuel pump depending on hp goal. I've seen some stock pumps due well on low boost. Tuning will tell you if your pump is running short.

Final exhaust after the down pipe.
The down pipe will end under the passenger floor board aiming rearward.
You have some options here. Go from the down pipe. To the stock exhaust connection point.
Do a custom system after the down pipe to your choice of pipe size.
Diesel system modified to fit the truck.
Muffler needs to be a straight through design. No CHAMBER mufflers.

Gauges depends on your style. Boost, and air/fuel are the top 2. Fuel PSI is one you can use.

Catch can. I don't run one. Can be added to the system pretty easy later in life.

Methanol injection: can be added later if you start to push the system to hi boost or have junk fuel in your area.

The meth kit for sure stop detonation and help save Pistons. Catch can is a must. Rick list is die on. Tuning,,,you will need your tunner to set you up a start up tune. The exhaust you will need to get a few bends and finish off the down pipe to muffler. This all will be funny.

if you are in an area that provides it, run e85 hands down vs meth.

Thanks for the reply's. Good build threads will help a ton during installation.

Can anyone tell me if these injectors are a direct fit for my truck? They are 57 # not 60 if it makes much difference. Thanks

I am wondering if diesel exhaust is routed the same as gas exhaust system? Can i order a cat back system for a 09 diesel truck and have it fit in my 09 1500? I want to go with a 4" system not sure what i can order to get me close to the down pipe. Thanks

The routing is same. The hangers will need to be adjusted.
I added 1 universal hanger on mine to help hold the middle up.
4" fits but is tight between body and frame.
I flattened those area slightly to give more clearance.

3-4 slip adapter will be needed to go from down pipe to exhaust.

Is 3" sufficient or is 4" better?
