Depends on what you already have in your truck. You can measure the width of your radiator.
My truck came stock with 28" radiator. I swapped to 34" after having a radiator damage. And I noticed a difference in temp. It became lower with the wider 34" radiator. Later I replaced the stock clutch fan with 05+ e-fans. Those will required 34" radiator anyway to fit.
So, it depends on where you live and what type e-fans you use.

ya, ill have to measure it. i though you were talking about the inner cooler. my bad. as far as the e-fans i made my own they work great. i live in az and my temps dropped a good deal. im going to be getting a stage 3 kit soon just wanto know what i can to make the install go smooth before i buy everything

Here is bigger picture of the 28" radiator. You can compare to yours without measuring. The 34" radaitor will not have enough space to run the cold pipes beween the radiator and the head lights.

ya its a 2004 sierra, honestly it looks like i got quite a bit of room between the 2. good to know tho thanks man. im trying to learn what i can from urs, since im planning on trying to do a stage 3 in the next few months.

did you have the guy redo the waste gate location or is it something that trick fixed?
