Ok took alook and the torque was down a little as well. Down across the board.
We installed a different Muffler Magnaflow 3" in and 3" out, just cut the Flowmaster off and reinstalled this one. This muffler was overall longer and took a little bit fit, but its in there.
When I left the muffler shop, I noticed or thought I noticed the truck seems sunkier. I thought maybe becuase is was a little more quite, but sure felt different. Seemed to have a peppieer throttle responce. Ran over to the dyno right quick and got the
HP is back up to 236.78 and TQ 264.45.

But not just peek numbers the complete graph was up, so the truck is spunkier.lol Noise level not bad I like the Magnaflow sound better, does not have that resination going on.
I first chose wrong and it cost me HP and TQ. I recieved a PM from Curt, telling me how the Magnaflow would give me back the HP. He sends me a muffler to prove it will work better. It did; in sound and performance.

So whats the real out come. On THIS truck this stock TRUCK I think the exhaust system is great for sound but overall HP not a huge helper over the stock set up, for this STOCK truck. But if you choose the wrong muffler for your combination it can cost you hp. As was the case for me.
We are done testing NA stuff, the turbo system is where we make a living and we just wanted to show the steps to getting to the turbo. I think we spent a little more time on the exhaust side of things then I predicted we would but, its all a learning curve. Each truck is different, these dynos are for this UNDERDOG.

LATER

PS. THANKS TO CURT,
and Autoshop for letting me use the dyno.

Time for turbo.

I have enjoyed it. LOL It really shows on this truck, doing small things sometimes makes big differences. Truck is about to be taken down for a little while.
Turbo install, I will take pics.
getting the IC mounted up

and throwing a different exhaust on it again.

Here is one of the graphs. I saved it wrong, it is in mph not engine speed but you will the gest of it. I think a better tell tell of how it feels, would have been to dyno from a stand still. But enough about mufflers, I need my turbo on there now. LOL

Small update.
I recieved my air/water intercooler, waterpump, and heat exchanger in. Work is progressing slower then I would like at this point. Fabing brackets, etc are a huge time killer.
Now the shop is about to be sprayed with foam insulation causing more work delays.
I should have this up and running in Early to mid Nov.

BTW our V and P gauges are in.
