When layout a kit for the aftermarket, serveral areas need to be address.

* Performance
* fittment
* overall appearacne
* costing
there are more.

I feel all areas have been address'd rather nicely. The Performance is solid and proven, the fittment it bolts up rather easy, the appearance has had no complaining so that one is good, costing the kit is affordable.

All in all the look of a kit is as important as the performance of that kit. If the kit gives you another 10hp but looks like crap, is a pain in the backside to fit, and you have to move alot of stuff to make it work. Well that is not a kit we will build or sale.

We will be testing the larger DP and IF it yeilds more power then we will add an upgrade option to the package. That is why we are testing different options.

Well I know where you are coming from, I am trying to finish my front mount install and i went with a 4" down pipe and i am having to figure out a couple of things and some re-routing.
I think your kit is top notch and I would have gone with it if I didint have this one

3" downpipe is plenty. thats what I used on a Silverado SS I just did a single tc76 on. 5880 race weight 11.929@119.5, no boost launch.

its definitely not plenty. just because it works, doesnt mean your parts are adequate. youd probably gain 20hp at the wheels going from 3 to 4" dp.

You may gain some on the top end but i think the bottom end might suffer alittle. Unless you are making some huge power the 3" will probably do fine.

At 800hp I can gain 20hp by adding 1 degree of ignition advance too. I can make 1000fwhp with a 3" downpipe and still have no concerns for high p/r's.
