fired it up. gota love that smoke as all the oily finger prints burn off. had a couple of small issues and worked thru those.

i had the flange on the tb extended. i think the guy i had weld on the extension didn't pull out the sensors. both the iac valve and tps were dead. good thing i had a spare set laying around.

then when i tried to tune for the slightly larger injectors my adjustments were having no effect. i ended up copying most of the numbers from a 2000 silverado over. stuff like offsets, short pulse limit. after i did that i could make changes to the flow rate that had effects and i was able to get the ltrims where i wanted them.

almost time for a spin. need to wire the meth kit, wire the wideband and wire the return pump. i wish i had a lift so i could take some better pics under the truck. it really looks nice under there.

just the ones that came with the intake for now. looks to me like those should be good for about 250rwhp. we will be counting on the meth for another 50hp or so.

funny thing is, it seemed easier to tune the 60's than those stockers.

is she driving yet?

yea the injectors are supposed to be 23.5 or 24lbers. be just fine for a stock 4.3 and a little bit of boost. id guess anything over 6psi you would need to switch to 42lb or even 60lbers depending what you are pushing.

28lbs is the exact number i programed in to get my ltrims back in line.

(28x6)x2 = 336fwhp worth of fuel. thats pretty good. add a little meth to it and things will be great.

probably be happy around 10psi. the goal is 300rwhp.

i hope the owner steps up to some drag radials and cal tracs. then later maybe a little more power. if we try and go over 300rwhp i will talk the owner into some larger injectors.

When Justin tuned mine, I believe 27.8 or 28.7 is what we used.
