Default Turbo 4.3L - carburated-

i am thinking about pickin up a first gen s10 and putting a carburated 4.3L in the beast. i was thinking a built 700r4 or th350 with a ford 8.8" rearend but catch is- 3000rpm stall

CSU 750 blow through carb
edelbrock 2114 intake manifold
270ah cam (turbo freindly)
lower the compression to 9:1 or a little lower
96+ vortec heads w/ port and valve job along with new springs bowl work
Double roller timing chain
SRP pistons w/ eagle rods- ALL ARP hardware w/ cryfreezed bottom end and crank

now- Single T-60 or T-70 turbo on a blow through set-up- look for 500whp- it would be a fun ride on some 11" wide wheels out back with nitto 555r's

-----------------------QUESTIONS--------------------
on a blow through carb how does it know when to keep adding more fuel as the boost pressure rises.?
Would a t-60 or T-70 be more suitable for my application? i see 3litre supras running t-70's.........
DO they make an aftermarket electronic overdrive for the th350?
Is a 350 cheaper to build than a 4.3L???? i have heard this....

More pressure equals more airflow equals more power, to a point.
The increased airflow will be "read" by the carb and more fuel is added automatically.

See this for turbo selection: http://www.forcedinductions.com/help.htm

Gear vendors overdrive for the TH350.

350 is much cheaper than the 4.3L. But you can be different and do the V6.

Your carb. must be set up for a boosted world. Since a carb venturi's work by pressure drop to help suck the fuel in, you will need to do a little tweeking. Once you go into boost all things are equal, and the velocity of the air helps pull the fuel in. C&S specialties build blow throu carbs.

I think I pointed this to you before, but check out turbomustang.com. I know there Fords, but a carb is a carb and they have a GM section too. They have a WHOLE section on there board on how to build, modify and tune blow though carbs.

Oh, and a T-60 will get ya 500+rwhp and be quite responsive in a front mount setup, a T-70 could get you more, but will have much more lag, especially on a 4.3.
