Default Turbo 5.3 in a 72 *pics*

So some of you have seen my project I'm working on for my dad in the Clasic Trucks section here . Well, I'm to the turbo part of the build, so I though I show ya that in here. The motor is a stock 5.3 out of a 04 Tahoe with about 40k on it. I did put some yellow Z06 valve springs in it, so it's ready for a cam if we need it and will help with any valve float it might have had. The Turbo is a Master Power T70 with a .68 A/R turbine side. Some of you may think this is a little small, but dads wants a quick boosting truck that's fun to drive around town, not looking for a high rpm big HP truck. Gona shoot for 500/500rw. 6 psi daily and 10 when we want to play . So far I have the header built, here are some pics. I built it out of sced. 10 (THICK) 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 stainless steal pipe weldalls. Shouldn't have any problems with cracking.

Is that air line a little close to the bag bracket? Looks like a nice setup man; what did you do for motor mounts?

I haven't plumed the air lines permanent yet, that's just a temp line so I can air it up.

I made some adapter plates to bolt to the 5.3 and the stock 350 mount bolt to them. Check out my thread in the Classic trucks section, there more info there on mounting the motor and airbags

Ok, guy's, I know its been a while since I posted anything on this, but I've got some more done lately, so here is an update. Pretty much got the turbo pluming all done. Still need to run the oil lines to here, but here's some more pics.

Actually, I'm probably going to build a setup like this for my truck when I'm done with this truck and was thinking of building a couple extra sets of hot pipes while I'm doing it.
