I originally started of with a Nelson mail order tune. Was very happy with it. He even did something for me that he does not do with anybody which is why I am not appt to say cause we had a discussion about it. Mail order tunes are good if you can find the right person, but if you can get a dyno tune there is lil bit more power to be made cause with mail orders you have to be conservative with the tune simply cause you dont know the conditions the vehicle is bein ran in, etc. I ended up buying EFIlive and started tuning myself with some help from some guys here on the board. With limited time to log runs cause I am only home on the weekends I was still able to get it to run the way I liked it and was able to crack off a high 11 in my truck.

Just wanted to update this thread as well.
The issue was not the tune!

Maf was replaced and the tune is dead on.
Just posting this because Sambo had an issue as well, and the cause ended up being something other than the tune.

Actually, descreening the maf has unpredictable results.
We've tune many trucks with stock and descreened mafs and some turn out ok and others react bad.
Some have good results, others, well...
Generally speaking, don't modify the maf and keep it clean.

descreening mine made it run about 2 points richer on the airflow I think it was because the it was right at a bend and helped the air flow to the sensor maybe one day I will do a speed density tune I already have the 2 bar just need the tune!
