Default turbo 6.0 results.. 1/4 mile

Well I want to see what u guys think. Took my truck to the track on 15 psi and made one pass, I'm here in Houston Texas and I was sweating just standing there. Nobody was getting timeslips but friends and family saw the pass. Left at idle and ran 12.2 at 115 with iats of 188* and 7-10* total timing down the whole track and was shifting right at 6100!

Should I be happy with those results? If I had my full 15* of timing how much mph would I have ended up with? its also pretty fat in the mid 10's.

I can say when I left my iat's were 99* and I ran my dads Camaro that traps 121 and I pulled away from him like was standing still amd my iats never went over 135

Truck is a lq4 stock heads 232/240 and t-6 s476 T-6 1.32 AR

im going to 1/8 mile tomorrow and pulling my pas headlight, pulling the big KNN filter off the turbo and removing my Valence since my intercooler is directly behind it. gonna try the syty shuffle also to try and leave on some boooost! ill be happy with 97-100mph trap speed if i can keep the IAT's down

Seems a little slow to me, but you'll get there.

I'm not trying to start any wars here but Josh's truck and mine when it was the 5.7/D1sc w/6-rib on 15 psi is a pretty similar comparison, only difference being turbo/front mount intercooler and Procharger/horizontal intercooler.

Mine in the this heat would run 11.20's around 121 mph with IAT's nowhere near 188.

Only reason I bring this up is because people are always trying to compare Procharger/Turbo and then FMIC vs. horizontal mount. Figured it would be some decent info.

No offense taken here!

Were you running meth?

There are a few things I need to do to help get my IAT down and I think right now is the hottest time of the year and it's been 100+ every single day. we will see tOmorrow if I can get my IAT's down and take advantage of my full 15* of timing. This was also my first pass and AFR's are super fat in the mid 10's. I think I can trap 125+ ish once it's lined out but only time will tell.

Our setups aren't completely comparable, but I lost .5 sec ET when my issues with fuel delivery were causing timing to be pulled.

That would be nice. Currently I have fat AFR and super low timing so alot can happen once those are fixed. How much mph did you gain with that .5 sec?

IIRC, I lost 2-3 mph.

My truck was going lean in 3rd gear at the track. I found my fuel filter plugged. Replaced the filter, and now it doesn't run out of fuel. When it would lean out, the knock sensors picked it up & pulled timing.
