Default Turbo charge pipe size question!

The kit that I bought I am relocating the innercooler behind the ss bumper the pipe from the turbo to innercooler is 2" and I will just have to add a little bit more tubing to make it to the innercooler but I am contemplating rebuilding the whole tube out of 2.5" instead it is odd because the pipe going from the innercooler to the throttle body is mostly 2.5" so what size should I get? I could really use you guys expertise!

i like to work my way up in pipe size from the turbo to the tb. usualy go 2.5" from the turbo to the intercooler. then 3" from the ic to the maf. then even upsize again if you can and run a 3.5" from the maf to the tb.

if it isn't too much work or expense i think it would be worth it to upgrade to a 2.5". 2" seems pretty small.

Yeah it does work it's way up right now I believe it does go to 3.5" from 2.5 from the innercooler, so should I ditch the 2"?

If your only running about 7psi of boost, you'll never notice the difference. At that level of air flow your not really restricting the flow with small tube size. You start running more boost then is might help, but probable nothing you will ever feel until you go to a bigger motor and higher boost and need the increased area for air flow.

I think I will go ahead and step to the 2.5" because I have to reconstruct the tube anyhow!

I would say 2.5". However, I think the smaller the volume of the charge pipe, the more responsive it will be!
