Everyone is recommending turbos for you but not one person has asked what motor its going on, and what kind of spool characteristics you want. You havent said what kind of transmission youregoing to run or what size converter either. All of that will come into play for turbo sizing.

Sorry guess I was a lil vague. I will be running the stock tranny it will be built to hold this power and 408 cubic inches with AFR LSX 245 heads. Probably run a 3-3500 stall. I do want it to spool as quick as possible. I am wanting this to be as streetable as possible cause I like to drive mine.

Let me be the first to tell you, a 4l60e no matter who builds it with whatever black magic voodoo will not hold up to 1000hp with AWD in a SUV. The clutches and hard parts no matter the quality simply arent big enough to get the job done. You will need to converter to a 4l80e. On a 408 with twin 67s it should spool pretty damn quick especially if you run a 3400 converter like you said. Id look into smaller intake runner heads to keep port velocity up on such a heavy rig for out of boost cruising unless mileage is of no concern.
What fuel system do you plan on running? You do realize this is going to end up costing you well over 20K if not closer to 30K before it is rolling down the road to its full potential and reliable?
Plenty of people have done it before and there is enoguh knowledge on this board to get you there I just hope you piggy bank is really big.

Guess I need to find a 4l80 then. I know the cost of this build and with me and a few other of my friends doing all the work except machining it wont be that much but yea its still gonna cost me a pretty penny. As for fuel system I will be running an inline fuel pump, 120 ib injectors and a versafueler system.
