Those are damn good numbers.
I've never figured out why turbo set ups make HIGH numbers on the dyno compared to a S/C set up yet, they usually run very similar times at the track. Anybody care to explain that to me?
Same truck:
ie..6L @ 9 psi turbo makes 550hp/tq on dyno, runs 12.5 qtr.
6L @ 9 psi S/C makes 475hp/tq on dyno, runs 12.5 qtr.

i think it has more to due with the turbo lag...s/c are instant boost, where are the turbo has to spool with the rpm's. i think the turbo would perform better with a manuel tranny b/c of the clutch factor...just my un-professional opinion!

IMO, Turbos are more efficient and generate more power but on the track in a "street" vehicle form there is generally lag and is where the superchager (roots style) takes the advantage.
