I've never figured out why turbo set ups make HIGH numbers on the dyno compared to a S/C set up yet, they usually run very similar times at the track. Anybody care to explain that to me?
Same truck:
ie..6L @ 9 psi turbo makes 550hp/tq on dyno, runs 12.5 qtr.
6L @ 9 psi S/C makes 475hp/tq on dyno, runs 12.5 qtr.

a 72mm turbo on a 6.0 will absolutly rip off the line with nothing more than a little brake stall wich is easy to do.

Well I have a Grand National with a 3400 stall and it takes a lot more than a little brake stall and I have a super charged 04 SSR 5.3 that kills the tires coming off at idle. Now the GN doesn't have a 6.0

3.8 compared to a 6.0 with great factory heads and even high compresion in that case is really no comparison.
