I don't use any, just high temp copper rtv to seal any imperfections and help lubricate it when expanding and contracting with heat.. Same with the waste gate. If the surfaces are good and flat (I check them with a file) they seal REALLY well. Nothing to blow out that way...

I do use a gasket between the head and the manifold, but its the same stock one that came on the truck. Ben reused a few times. I only keep it cus it's aluminum to steel and will expand at different rates and need to move a little and the ss stock gasket helps it to move with out galling.

I use a copper gasket between the manifold and turbo. I don't like using goop, too much of a PITA to remove and reapply IMO.

does anybody use anything on the v-band flange? at work we use metal tape on the v-bands on the bleed airline and what not on the t56 engine. seems to hold pretty good. and the hot compressed air.

Hi-Temp red RTV on the turbo-exh manifold surface and on the v-bands. Seems to work great.

Stock OEM metal exhaust gaskets between head and manifold.
